Not going to lie, I enjoyed Dredd. Really really dumb but in a good way. The dystopian city sets were awesome. The acting was appropriately horrible. The action was bloody but not really mind-blowing. I was happy to see them cross some lines to make it more like the comic, but most of the scenes were pretty simple.
The only thing more disappointing then such a trite action movie device as a drug called SLO-MO is when they don’t use it once for a real shootout.
I miss you Matrix. I wish everyone didn’t rip you off so poorly for so many years. Then maybe we could have seen the Dredd take on bullet/SLO MO time.
